Teams at the Rockets are among the best found in the Hills Football Association and country and our club has a great track record of producing winning teams at all ages.
Our Committee features competition and age specific Vice Presidents and Co-Ordinators that oversee Coaching, Player Development and many other aspects of a Rockets player’s football journey. Team Coaches are well supported at our club with ongoing certified FFA training courses offered and information and training provided through Hills Football Association. All club Coaches also and have the highly valuable resource at their disposal of Club Coach Pat Polistina from the affiliated Elite ASA Football Academy to help with advice on getting the most out of every team and player.
These ongoing efforts initiated by the club ensures that players of all ages and capabilities are given the best possible club football experience and opportunities to play, learn and grow their love of the ‘Beautiful Game’.
All junior mixed non-competition and competition team matches are played on a Saturday. Most Senior matches are played on a Friday night. Home games are played at Eric Mobbs Reserve in Castle Hill. Nearly all away games are played at the home ground of the team being played. All teams are based in the Hills District to minimise travel.
The football season usually starts late March and the competition runs for 18 weeks plus finals where necessary. Pre-Season training and grading will usually be run from February to March. All players are notified of all events, game times and locations through email, TeamApp or their team manager.
